The Delight Poetry Brings To Our Lives

This week’s Mindful Monday is a short and sweet one.

One of my favorite poets is a sufi poet by the name of Rumi. This particular poem is one I LOVE. It reminds me of the essence of giving for the simple reason that it feels good, without wanting in return. Whether it’s to your partner, kids, friends, stranger, colleague or family. It has a quality that speaks to a greatness within each and everyone of us, a greatness that we are all capable of.

“And Still,
After All This Time,
The Sun Has Never Said To The Earth, ‘You Owe Me’

Look At What happens With A Love Like That.
It Lights Up The Whole Sky.”
