In case no one has told you this lately, you’re outstanding at being a human. You’ve worked so hard and you’ve been through so much and you’ve been doing amazing with all the things life has thrown your way.
You’re a little hard on yourself at times, or a lot of the time, and likely you don’t realize how much happiness you bring to the people around you. You’re appreciated more than you could ever know.
You being here, on this earth is impactful. There are no mistakes, and you’re here, at this time of immense emotional, spiritual, political and global change for a reason.
You don’t have to know the reason, you just have to trust that there are no mistakes.
You don’t have to fix anything about yourself today, you just need to remember how much of a life you’ve lived and where you’ve come from.
You’ve had an exceptional life so far, and you have brought joy to many peoples lives, and you have no idea how much.
Today do yourself a HUGE favor, don’t pick apart your body, look at yourself and remind yourself how beautiful you are (man or woman), how much your body has accomplished in this life and how much fun you’ve experienced in this body of yours.
There are at least three things that you can celebrate about yourself today. What are they? Big or small, you’re only job today is to figure out what you can celebrate about yourself today, and if that feels hard to figure out, text a couple of people and ask them what they like about you. Go on, I dare you to do that.
Write down what you come up with (or your friends/loved ones) and look at the list at least 3 more times today.
No matter the mistakes you’ve made in your life, the relationships that have fallen apart or the struggles you’ve faced – you being here is a gift, you’re a gift.
I know you likely don’t often hear this, and perhaps almost never. But you matter and I’m swelled with gratitude knowing we share this time on earth together.
If you feel like lifting someone else up today, send a text to at least 1 other person, randomly and let them know why they’re so important to you.
